About Web Trading

TradeStation Web Trading is a secure and powerful web-based tool that can be used to analyze and trade equities, options, futures, and forex markets. Web Trading is based on TradeStation's award-winning Platform software and offers you the ability to trade from locations where installing the full Platform is impractical. Trades are made to your regular TradeStation accounts. You may enter or exit positions in both Web Trading and the TradeStation Platform.

Overview

The first several times you open Web Trading you will be presented with an overlay that shows a few key areas of the Web Trading workspace. Clicking "Let's get started" removes the overlay.

The following outlines the general steps you will follow when using Web Trading.

• Get market quotes for a list of symbols.
• Chart price activity for a specific symbol and interval.
• Analyze quote and chart price data using Indicators such as ADX, Keltner Channel, Volume Avg, etc.
• Place trades in the Order Bar.
• Review orders and balances.

Layout

The Web Trading workspace contains two Views and a pop-up Order Bar. See below.

  Grid View

This panel contains tabs for displaying positions, orders, balances, and quotes.

  Chart View

The Chart View displays a series of historical bar values that represent trading intervals for the symbol selected. Inserted indicators may overlay the bars or appear in a subgraph below the price chart.

  Place Trade

Click this button to display the Order Bar.

  Help

Click this button to access Web Trading Help.

  Connected

Click this button to set the Inactivity Timeout or Logout from Web Trading.
