Placing an Equities Order

To generate an order from the Equities tab on the Trade Bar, you will typically fill in the boxes on the top row of the order bar, from left to right. Once you've entered and reviewed the order parameters, you can select a button from the second row to specify a basic order action (Buy, Sell, etc.) or choose another type of order.

Some routes and durations may be unavailable for use with certain order types. If this is the case, those route and duration choices that are unavailable will appear grayed out.

You can disable the Confirm dialog if you do not wish to confirm your order before placing it. For more information, see Enabling and Disabling Order Confirmations.
