Formatting a Chart Analysis Window

A Chart Analysis Window can include a number of objects including symbol data (price bars), analysis techniques, strategies, account order & position markers, and drawing objects that each have their own format settings. In addition, every Chart Analysis Window has its own specific format settings along with Chart Analysis Preferences that are shared with other chart windows.

Format Symbol

  1. Activate a Chart Analysis window.
  2. From the Menu bar, click Format > Symbol.
  3. Select the appropriate tab to make changes:

Format Analysis Technique

  1. Activate a Chart Analysis window containing an analysis technique.
  2. From the Menu bar, click Format > Analysis Techniques.
  3. From the Analysis Techniques tab, highlight a technique and click Format.
  4. Select the appropriate tab to make changes:

Format Strategies

  1. Activate a Chart Analysis window containing a strategy.
  2. From the Menu bar, click Format > Strategy.
  3. From the Strategies tab, highlight a technique and click Format.
  4. Select the appropriate tab to make changes:

Format Account Orders & Positions

  1. Activate a Chart Analysis window containing a strategy.
  2. From the Menu bar, click Format > Account Orders & Positions.
  3. Select the appropriate tab to make changes: 

Format Account Number

  1. From the Menu bar, click Format > Account Orders & Positions.
  2. Click the Account No.
  3. Select the appropriate tab to make changes:

Format Drawing Object

 Each drawing object has different formatting settings that can be accessed by right-clicking on the drawing object and select Format 'Object Name'.

Format Window

  1. Activate a Chart Analysis window.
  2. From the Menu bar, click Format > Window.
  3. Select the appropriate tab to make changes:
