TradeStation Help
The Inputs tab allows you to format the inputs for the selected analysis technique. Inputs allow you to modify the way the analysis technique is calculated and how its components are displayed.
An input is a default value that the application uses to calculate the analysis technique/indicator. If you want to set an alert for an analysis technique column, you must specify the value at which you want to be notified.
An example of an input value is the number of bars used to calculate a simple moving average. Your charting application uses a default value for the number of bars, however you can change that number when you format the analysis technique/column. The inputs available will vary depending on the analysis technique's column.
For the Quick Quote window, only the UpColor, DnColor, and ColorScheme inputs can be formatted. The inputs are listed with their corresponding values in the top pane.
From the Chart Analysis or RadarScreen window, access using the menu bar Format > Analysis Techniques menu sequence, select Format and click the Inputs tab. The Format Indicator/Fields dialog is displayed.
From the Quick Quote window, access using the Format Fields dialog, and click the Inputs tab.
