Format Analysis Technique - Color (Chart Analysis, Quick Quote, RadarScreen)

The Color tab allows you to format the plot colors so that when an analysis technique or indicator is applied to a Chart Analysis, Quick Quote or RadarScreen window. Color properties do not affect the analysis technique's calculation in any way but only the manner in which the analysis technique is displayed.  From the Chart Analysis and/or RadarScreen window, access using the menu bar Format > Analysis Techniques menu sequence, select Format and click the Color tab. The Format Indicator/Fields dialog is displayed.

 From the Quick Quote window, access using the Format Fields dialog and click the Color tab.

Plots  

Customizes the color for the selected analysis technique/indicator.

• To change the color for a specified analysis technique/grid, select the analysis technique/grid. The color selected appears in the Preview.

Foreground/Background Color  

• Select the desired color for the selected analysis technique/indicator. For more color options, click Other.

Additional Settings  

Contains an option to override color settings used in EasyLanguage. Only displayed using RadarScreen window.

• Override any color settings specified in EasyLanguage... - Check this setting to use the colors selected in lieu of those used in the EasyLanguage statement for the selected analysis technique.

Default - Sets use any changes that you made as your default setting. Not applicable for the Quick Quote window.

Edit EasyLanguage - Launches the TradeStation Development Environment. If disabled, the option to edit an analysis technique in the TradeStation Development Environment is not available.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
