Add Symbol List

The Add Symbol List feature provides you with several types of symbol lists to add to your active window. Custom Symbol Lists provides you with the most flexibility as it allows you to create and customize your own symbol lists or historical symbol lists. Once your custom/historical custom lists are created, you have the flexibility to consolidate the custom lists together. Reuters Symbols Lists contains the industry groups which offers you a breakdown of different market sector categories and their subcategories. TradeStation Symbol Lists includes a number of standard lists that are periodically updated. This includes Index Components, Indexes, Industry Groups and Largest Volume Stocks.

The Add Symbol List dialog contains two panes; Symbol Lists and Symbols.

Access using the Data > Add Symbol List or Data > Edit Lists menu sequence and click add from a List. The Add Symbol List dialog is displayed.

Symbol Lists

The Symbol Lists pane contains the Custom Symbol Lists, Reuters Symbol Lists, and TradeStation Symbol Lists. Symbol lists are displayed in a hierarchical tree structure organized by category.
