Customize Window - Quantity (Matrix)

The Quantity tab allows you to set predefined number and price values for the quantity in the Matrix window. For example, you can create predefined number of shares for Equities, and predefined number of contracts for Options that are commonly used. Up to six predefined values for each asset type can be created and saved.

 Access using the Settings > Window menu sequence and select the Quantity tab. The Customize Window > Quantity dialog is displayed.

Asset Type  

Displays the types of assets that can be used to set custom number and price values for each asset type.

  • Select the desired asset type you want to create predefined values for.  

Trade Bar Quantity Selections  

Contains the default and predefined value settings used in the Quantity box.

  • Most Recently Used - Check this setting to use the most recent value. The value displayed is the last value used or the default value that is set in the Quantity section of the Order Entry Preferences > Trading dialog.
  • Custom - Check this setting to enter desired values you want displayed below the Quantity box. This allows you to set predefined values that are used frequently, without having to enter them in each time. For example, you may want to have multiple contracts for Options or shares for Equities.

Set as Default - Check this setting to save any changes that you made as your default.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
