Symbol Command Rules

A Symbol command is an instruction to replace or append a symbol or symbols to the active window. You can specify multiple symbols in a symbol command.

  • A symbol command consists of a symbol name (not symbol description) followed by an optional interval and/or range parameter (5 min, 30 days, etc.).
  • Only valid symbols can be entered, not symbol descriptions.
