Setting Command Line Preferences

There are a number of preferences that you can use to customize to customize the Command Line, including how many items to display in the Command Line history lists and how to display Command Line errors.

Access using the menu bar File > Preferences > Desktop menu sequence. The TradeStation Desktop Preferences dialog is displayed.

  1. Click the Command Line tab.
  2. From the Command Line Entry List section, enter the number of items to display (5-50) in the Command Line drop-down list.
  3. From the History & Command section, enter the number of symbols and interval commands to display.
  4. From the Error Dialog section, select the Display dialog for Command Line errors check box to display any command syntax errors in the Command Line Errors dialog box. Command line errors are always displayed in the status bar regardless of whether this check box is selected.

Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
