Replacing an Order in TradeManager

You can quickly perform a cancel-replace of an individual order. This allows you to change selected items of an order from a series of pre-selected parameters.

  1. Open TradeManager and select the Orders tab.
  2. Right-click the desired order you want to replace.
  3. From the shortcut menu, select Cancel/Replace '[symbol order]'. The shortcut menu will display additional choices to the right of your selection, including Customize at the TradeStation Trade Bar to enter order changes using the Trade Bar.
  1. Select the desired Send Now... option to launch the Confirm dialog with a description of the order modifications.  

 Click OK to accept the changes and replace the order, or No to cancel order changes.

Once accepted, the existing order is immediately canceled and a replacement request is submitted. You'll need to check the order status to verify that the order was actually replaced in the market, since there may be some order conditions that might cause an order to be rejected.
