Locking or Unlocking the Trade Bar
For your security, you can lock the Trade Bar so that you cannot place orders from it as well as lock Order Entry macros. You can lock just the Trade Bar or Order Entry macros or use the Lock All option to lock both order placement methods.
Locking/Unlocking the Trade Bar
- From Main toolbar, click Lock/Unlock Order Placement
icon and select Lock Trade Bar from the drop-down menu. A check mark appears next to the Lock Trade Bar menu item indicating that it is active. - To unlock the Trade Bar, click Lock/Unlock Order Placement icon and select Lock Trade Bar from the drop-down menu once again. The check mark next to the Lock Trade Bar menu item is removed indicating that it is no longer active.
Locking/Unlocking the Order Entry Macros
- From the Main toolbar, click Lock/Unlock Order Placement icon and select Lock Macros (Hot Keys, Toolbars, Commands) from the drop-down menu. A check mark appears next to the Lock Macros menu item indicating that it is active.
- To unlock Order Entry macros, click Lock/Unlock Order Placement icon and select Lock Macros (Hot Keys, Toolbars, Commands) from the drop-down menu once again. The check mark next to the Lock Macros menu item is removed indicating that it is no longer active.
Locking/Unlocking the Trade Bar and Order Entry Macros Simultaneously
- From the Main toolbar, click Lock/Unlock Order Placement icon and select Lock All from the drop-down menu.
- To unlock the Trade Bar and Order Entry macros, click Lock/Unlock Order Placement icon and select Unlock All from the drop-down menu once again.
