Hiding a Study
Sometimes you may not want to remove or display a study on your chart but still want to perform its calculations and notify you of any alerts that are triggered. You can do this by hiding the study. This keeps the study enabled and allows it to continue calculating "behind the scenes."
- Activate the Chart Analysis window containing the indicator to hide.
- From the Menu bar, click Studies > Edit Studies. The Customize Studies & Strategies dialog is displayed.
- Click the Studies tab.
- Select the study to hide.
- Click Customize.
- Click the Scaling tab.
- Under Axis, select Hidden from the Sub-graph drop-down menu.
- Click OK. You may be prompted to move the study into the same subgraph as the symbol on which it is scaled, click No.
- Click Close.
