Study Groups
Study groups are organizational tools. You can apply as many studies and/or strategies as you want to a Chart Analysis or RadarScreen window, customize them the way you want, and then save them as a study group. You can then open another Chart Analysis or RadarScreen window in any workspace, and apply the study group.
Study groups save you the work of applying studies one- by-one to a Chart Analysis or RadarScreen window. All the same studies and/or strategies, customized the way you want, are applied to the window at one time. You can also select a default study group to apply every time you create a new Chart Analysis or RadarScreen window.
There are several study groups included with TradeStation but you can also create your own by saving your favorite groups of studies and/or strategies into a study group. study groups are not workspace specific and can include all study types and/or strategies supported by the window.
After you apply a study group to a Chart Analysis or RadarScreen window, you can treat the studies and/or strategies that are part of the study group as separate items. Once applied to a window, the components of a study group cannot be customized or removed as a group; you must work with them individually.
