Insert Analysis Techniques - Indicator (Chart Analysis)

The Indicator tab allows you to choose an indicator to apply to the active Chart Analysis window. To insert an indicator into a multi-data chart and specify the symbol on which to base the indicator, see Basing the Indicator on a Different Symbol.

 Access using the menu bar Insert > Indicator menu sequence and select the Indicator tab.

1. Select a desired analysis technique from the list to insert into the active Chart Analysis window. The CTRL key allows you to select multiple studies in out of sequential order; the SHIFT key selects multiple studies in sequential order.

• Definition - Launches the selected analysis technique's Help page.
• Edit EasyLanguage - Launches the selected analysis technique in the TradeStation Development Environment.
• Import - Imports an indicator from the Internet or an external file using TradingApp Store or Import/Export wizard.
• Prompt for Format - Check this setting or double-click on the desired Indicator before it is applied to the active chart. The Format Analysis Technique - General dialog is displayed.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
