Adding Strategy Groups to a Portfolio

  1. To add a strategy group to a portfolio, click the Manage Portfolios icon from the Shortcut Bar.
  2. Select the desired portfolio from the Portfolio panel.  
  3. Click the Add Strategy Group button. The Add Strategy Group dialog displays the strategy groups available to add to the selected portfolio. For more information, see Adding Strategies to a Strategy Group.
  4. Click the to expand the view to see the strategies and symbol lists associated with the selected strategy group.   
  5. Click OK when finished. The strategy group structure is displayed in the Portfolio contents window.

Strategy groups that are added to a portfolio are applied in the order of priority. The sequence in which the strategy groups are shown on the screen indicates this priority; the strategy group shown first has a higher priority than the second, etc. To change the sort order of the strategy groups, use the up/down arrows.
