To obtain the most complete and responsive support for Portfolio Maestro, please follow these steps:

  • Try to reproduce the problem.
  • Exit the program or reboot the strategy if it crashed.
  • Retrace your steps using the same database and sequence of procedures and gather all of the information on the problem.
  • If the problem is repeated, note any error messages that display on the screen. Better yet, get a screen shot of the message.
  • Try to specify when the problem occurs: during data collection, running the software and if yes, at what stage.
  •  To make a screen shot, press the Print Screen key, then in MS Word, open a new document, go to the Edit menu, and select Paste. The image of the screen will appear in the document. Save this file and e-mail it to the Support Desk.
  • E-mail the Help Desk.
