Changing the Status of a Strategy
TradeStation enables you to temporarily disable a strategy. This is referred to as turning off the status of the strategy. This technique is useful when you don't want to delete the strategy completely but don't want it to calculate or display on your chart at the current time. You may also want to turn a strategy back on if it is currently off. You can turn it back on so the strategy continues to perform its calculations.
- From a Chart Analysis window containing the strategy, click Studies > Edit Strategies. The Customize Studies & Strategies dialog is displayed.
- Select and highlight the strategy you want to change the status of.
- Click Status to toggle the strategy status from On to Off and Off to On.
- Click OK when finished.
