Customize Columns (Scanner)

The Customize Columns dialog allows you to add and remove columns associated with the Scan Pane in the Scanner window. To view the Scan Pane, use the Settings > Scan Pane menu sequence

You must be in a Scanner window to activate the Scan Pane.

 Access using the Settings > Columns menu sequence. The Customize Columns dialog is displayed.

  • Available - Contains the columns that can be inserted into the active Scanner window. Click the column in the Available column that you want, and then click the Add button. The column moves from Available to Selected and will appear in the Scan Pane.
  • Add - Adds the selected column from the Available list to the Selected list.
  • Selected - Contains the columns that are currently displayed in the active Scanner window. Click the column in the Selected column that you do not want, and then click the Remove button. The column moves from Selected to Available and will not appear in the Scan Pane.

     Not all settings may be available on a given customize column dialog.

  • Move Up/Move Down - Changes the sort criteria in how the columns are sorted (from left to right) in the Scan pane of the active Scanner window.

Set as Default - If available, check this setting to use any changes that you made as your default.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
