Adding, Renaming, or Deleting a Scan Folder

Scan folders can help organize your scans in the Scanner window.

Adding a Scan Folder

 Activate a Scanner window, and access the Data > Add Folder menu sequence, or use the shortcut menu in the Scan pane, and select Add Folder. The Add Folder dialog is displayed.

  1. Type the name of the folder to be displayed in the Scanner window.
  2. Click OK when finished. The folder has now been created in the Scanner window. The new folder is saved under the Scans folder created and stored on the local drive.

Renaming a Scan Folder

 Activate a Scanner window, right-click on a previously created folder, then select Rename Folder. The Rename Folder dialog is displayed.

  1. Type the new folder name in the New Name box.
  2. Click OK when finished. The folder will now display the new name in the Scan pane.

Deleting a Scan Folder

 Activate a Scanner window, access the shortcut menu and select Delete Folder. The TradeStation Scanner window is displayed.

  1. Click Yes to delete the selected folder. The folder is now deleted from the Scan pane of the Scanner window.
