RadarScreen Preferences - ToolTips
The ToolTips tab allows you to set the preferences of how the Tooltips behave in the RadarScreen window.
In the RadarScreen window, ToolTips are available for the Symbol column and cells with enabled alerts. A ToolTip is a small pop-up box that displays information about a symbol or an enabled alert setting.
By default, ToolTips for the symbol column display the symbol description and the exchange on which the symbol trades. The Tooltips for RadarScreen cells with enabled alerts display the inputs for the alert; such as HiAlert and LoAlert and, you cannot customize this type of ToolTip.
Access using the RadarScreen Settings > Preferences menu sequence and select the ToolTips tab.
Show RadarScreen Tooltips - Check this setting to enable and display the ToolTips in the RadarScreen window.
Symbol Category - Select the desired category corresponding to the ToolTip you want to modify from the drop-down list.
Available Fields
Contains the fields that are available to display ToolTips.
- Select the desired field to display in the ToolTip for the selected category.
- Add - Inserts the selected field into the ToolTip customize box.
- ToolTip Customize - To enter the fields manually, type the field in the Tooltip Customize box. You can include field descriptions in the ToolTips by clicking where you want to insert the description under ToolTip Customize and type the description. For example, to add a field description for the Exchange field, type "Exchange" in between the field names. This section will provide you with a preview of the settings you have selected for the ToolTip.
- Apply Tooltip Customize to All Categories - Check this setting to apply the customization to all symbol categories.
Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
