Building an Option Chain in RadarScreen

You can use the RadarScreen window to display an option chain. An option chain is a list of all the options being traded on an underlying symbol.

 Access using the Data > Add Symbol menu sequence and click Lookup from the Add Symbol dialog. The Symbol Lookup dialog is displayed.

  1. Select the desired tab corresponding to the category of the underlying symbol you want to use. For example, if you are creating an option chain for a stock option, click the Stocks tab.
  2. Search the desired underlying symbol using a description or symbol and click Lookup. The available symbols will be displayed. For more information, see About Symbol Lookup.
  3. Select the desired symbol to use to build an option chain in RadarScreen.
  4. Click Lookup Options for [symbol]. The Options tab displays a list of available options for the selected symbol root. To filter your options list, click Modify Filter. For more information on filtering options results, see Options Filter.
  5. Select the desired option(s) to add to the RadarScreen page. You can select multiple symbols and add them simultaneously.
  6. Click OK. The Add Symbol dialog displays the desired symbols to add.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
