Description
Outside Bar places a marker above any bar whose High is greater than the High of the previous bar and whose Low is less than the Low of the previous bar.
Many traders interpret outside bars to indicate a possible breakout in price activity in any direction.
Some traders consider a bar to be an outside bar if the High and Low are equal to the previous bar or when there are several consecutive bars that are outside a specified range of a previous bar. The Outside Bar ShowMe Study will not mark bars that meet either of these conditions.
