Real-time Unrealized P/L (Balances Row)

The net Unrealized Profit or Loss for all currently open positions. Unrealized Profit/Loss is the difference in the cost of the position against its current real-time market value (Shares * Price). The following price calculation is used for long or short positions for the core, pre-market, and after-hours trading sessions. 

  The profit and loss (P/L) calculations on the Open Positions tab and the PositionGraphs also use this method to determine the market value of positions in the core, pre-market, and after-hours trading sessions.

 

During all sessions:

• Price = Last (if between the InsideBid and InsideAsk) on a long or short position, otherwise the InsideBid or InsideAsk closest to the Last.
