Customize Regression Channel - Settings

The Settings tab allows you to modify the upper and lower channel lines based on a linear regression trendline. A Regression Channel consists of upper and lower channel lines based on a linear regression trendline.

 Access by double-clicking on one of the Regression Channel lines in the chart or right-clicking on a line and using the Edit "Regression Channel" menu sequence. Select the Settings tab.

Controls the settings for the line, line color, line style, and line weight for regression channel lines.

  • Line - Place a check mark to add the type of regression channel line to display in the chart window.
  • Line Color - Select the desired line color for the regression channel lines.
  • Line Style - Select the desired line style for the regression channel lines.
  • Line Weight - Select the desired line weight for the regression channel lines.
  • Use the following color, style and weight for all lines - Check this setting to enable the function to customize all regression channel lines to one color, style and weight. If you select this option, and decide not to use it, you can disable the check box and the default line colors, style and weight will return to its default settings.
  • Extend Left - Check this setting to extend the regression channel line to the edge of the chart in either direction.
  • Extend Right - Check this setting to extend the regression channel line to the edge of the chart in either direction. Extend Right is used as the default setting for the Regression Channel Lines.

Set as Default - Check this setting to use any changes that you made as your default.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
