Desktop Preferences - Workspaces
Use the Workspaces tab to set the preferences in how to Edit and display the TradeStation workspaces and workspace tabs.
Access using the menu bar File > Preferences > Desktop menu sequence and select the Workspaces tab.
On Startup ![]()
Controls the settings in how the TradeStation desktop opens when you log on.
- Do not open any workspaces - Select this setting to display an empty desktop without any workspaces.
- Open last active workspace from previous session - Select this setting to open the last workspace you opened in your previous session.
- Open all workspaces from previous session - Select this setting to open all of the workspaces that were opened in your previous session.
Opened Workspaces ![]()
Controls the number of workspaces to display in the Opened Workspaces list (accessible from the menu bar sequence - File > Opened Workspaces).
- Workspaces to display in menu - Select the arrow to display the number of opened workspaces in the File > Open Workspace > sub menu.
Recent Workspaces ![]()
Controls how many workspaces display in the Recent Workspaces list (accessible from menu bar sequence - File > Recent Workspaces). For convenience, you can also set the number of workspaces to remember.
- Workspaces to display in menu - Select the arrow to display the number of most recent workspaces you opened in the File > Recent Workspaces > sub menu.
- Total workspaces to remember - Select the arrow to set the number of workspaces to remember to keep the workspace history.
Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
