Desktop Preferences - Command Line
Use the Command Line tab to set your preferences for how many items to display in the Command Line history lists and how to display Command Line errors. For more information, see About the Command Line.
Access using the menu bar File > Preferences > Desktop menu sequence and select the Command Line tab.
Command Line Entry List
Controls the number of commands displayed in the command entry box drop-down list. The number of command items that can be displayed range from 5 to 50.
- Number of Items to display - Select the number of items you want to display in the command entry box drop-down list.
History & Command Lists
Controls the number of symbols and interval commands displayed in the command entry list. By selecting the next to the command entry box, the history and commands previously entered will be displayed. The number of history and command items that can be displayed range from 5 to 50.
- Number of Symbols to display - Select the number of symbols you want to display in the command entry list.
- Number of Intervals to display - Select the number of intervals you want to display in the command entry list.
Error Dialog
Controls the Error Dialog from either being displayed or hidden when you type an inaccurate symbol in the command entry box.
- Display dialog for Command Line errors - Check this setting to be prompted with the Command Line Errors window if there are command syntax errors. Command line errors are always displayed in the status bar regardless of whether this check box is selected.
Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
