Currency Category

This format displays numbers as a currency amount by placing a sign ($) in front of the value (for example, $18.50).

1. In the Category list, select Currency.
2. In the Alignment area, click the alignment type to use.
3. Enter the number of decimal places to display in the Decimal(s) box.
   
   The Negative numbers box displays the format of a negative currency value and the Preview pane displays a sample of your choices.

4. Click OK.
