Copying Cells in a Grid-Based Window
You can copy the contents of any grid-based window (for example, RadarScreen) and then paste it into a third party application i.e. Word, Notepad, Excel, Access, etc.
Copy a Window
- Activate a grid-based window.
- From the Menu bar, click Edit > Select All.
- From the Main toolbar, click Copy.
- Launch the desired application (i.e. MS Excel).
- Paste the contents into the desired application.
Copy Specific Cells in a Window
- Select the specific cells by using one of the following options:
- To select an individual cell, click inside the cell.
- To select a group of cells, drag the pointer across the appropriate cells.
- To select a row, click the blank cell located to the far left of the window for the row you want to select.
- To select a column, click the column's header.
- To select the entire table, click the blank cell located in the upper left corner of the window (also known as the Reference Row) or click Select All using the shortcut menu.
- From the Menu bar, click Edit > Copy or from the Main toolbar, click the Copy icon.
- Launch the desired application (i.e. MS Excel).
- Paste the contents into the desired application.
