Connecting or Disconnecting to the TradeStation Network

When you initially start TradeStation, you are prompted to choose whether you want to work in online or offline mode. When you connect to the TradeStation Network, you are working in online mode. Conversely, when you choose not to connect to the TradeStation Network, you are working in offline mode. You can always connect or disconnect from the TradeStation Network by following the instructions below.

You can easily check the status of your connection by viewing the data status icon located on the right side of the status bar. When Data is green it indicates you are connected to the TradeStation Network and when Data is red it indicates you are not currently connected.

Connecting to the TradeStation Network

 Access using the menu bar File > Work Online or double-click the data status icon located in the status bar. The TradeStation Network Logon dialog will be displayed.

Disconnecting from the TradeStation Network

 Access using the menu bar File > Work Online or double-click the data status icon located in the status bar. The TradeStation Network is disconnected, displaying a data status icon.
