Chart Status Line
The chart status line is used to display additional information about any symbols, studies, and strategies that are applied to a price chart or subgraph. For symbols, this includes specified price quote fields; for studies and strategies, inputs and plotted values are displayed. In addition, indications (markers) appear in the status line that represent various chart conditions. The chart status line is located at the top of each chart and subgraph.
The status line always displays the current information for chart symbols, even if you are plotting historical data.

Indications
The indications available in the status line are described in the table below. The columns displayed by default are marked with an asterisk (*).

| Ask* (A) | The price at which a seller in the market is willing to pay for a given instrument. Market orders to buy are filled at the ask price. | Yes | Displayed value |

If the status line is not completely visible in the chart window, hovering your mouse cursor over any portion of the status line displays a tooltip that shows all of the status line information. If the status line is completely visible, hovering your mouse cursor over the names of all active strategies and studies applied to the chart displays a tooltip with additional information.
