Changing the Number of Digits Used on a Price Axis
By default, the price axis shows up to seven digits, including decimal points (for example, 57.000). This setting does not affect the resolution at which your data is stored; it is for display purposes only.
You can also control whether trailing zeros are displayed on the price axis. For more information, see Chart Analysis Preferences - General.
- Activate a Chart Analysis window.
- From the menu, click Settings > Window. The Customize Window dialog is displayed.
- Click the General tab.
- Under Price Axis, select Left Axis and/or Right Axis to indicate which side of the chart to display the price. Either set the Width to Auto or select Manual and then enter the number of digits you want to display for either axis.
- Select the Set as Default check box to use the new settings as the default for all future Chart Analysis windows.
- Click OK when finished.
