Add Scan - Name
The Add Scan is the first step in the Add Scan wizard for creating and customizing scans. This allows you to save scan results that you generate from the criteria and conditions you entered and selected. Once you create a scan, the scan results are saved to your local drive. You have the ability to schedule scans based on a intra-day, daily weekly or monthly basis, set results and enable notifications based on your personal preference.
The Add Scan - Name dialog allows you to add a new scan using the wizard, you will be able to enter general information, select a universe to scan, set a criteria or conditions for the scan to generate the results you want.
Access by clicking the Create Scan icon on the tooblar or using the Scan Pane, click Add. The Add Scan - Name dialog is displayed.
- Name - Enter the desired name for the new scan folder in the Name box.
- Notes - Enter any comments about the new scan that you would like to include in the Notes box.
- Save this scan to a specific folder in the Scans pane - Contains a placeholder for saved scans that are placed in a particular folder. This organizes your scans and the folder is displayed in the Scan pane. For more information, see Add Folder.
Click Next to proceed to the Add Scan - Symbol Universe or Cancel to exit without any changes.
