Save Template (RadarScreen)
The purpose to saving a template is to provide you with the ability to use a template that you have customized and use for future RadarScreen pages. By saving a template, it prevents you from having to recreate the desired style you prefer for the page.
Saving a template is useful when you want to expand the look and feel of your RadarScreen page beyond what the default and predefined templates TradeStation has to offer.
- Make the necessary changes to the RadarScreen page by using the customize page or Customize Window dialog and/or applying an existing template.
Access using the menu bar Customize > Save Template menu sequence. The Save Template dialog is displayed.
Template Name
- Enter the desired name for the new template in the Template box.
Existing Templates
Contains a list of predefined TradeStation templates and additional templates that have been created.
- Optional. Select the desired template to override the existing template settings with a new template name. If you select a template, an overwrite dialog will be displayed. Once you override an existing template's name, you can not restore the original template unless you reinstall the TradeStation platform.
Set as Default - Check this setting to apply the selected template as the default template for all future RadarScreen windows.
Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
