News Filter - Providers
The News Filter - Providers dialog allows you to retrieve news stories from entitled news service providers. Providers have different categories and sources. You can change these settings according to your preferences. Settings are based on account entitlement.
Access from a News window using the main menu Data > Search News (customize filter) sequence, or the Headline Pane shortcut menu Add News Filter sequence, and select the Providers tab.
From the Ticker Bar, access using the shortcut menu New Ticker > News sequence. The News Filter - Providers dialog is displayed.
Providers 
The Providers box contains a list of providers. A check mark next to the provider's name indicates the provider that is being used when searching headlines and news stories. In order to make any changes to the providers, clear the check box setting for Display news for all available providers.
- Check the provider you want to use to filter news stories. If you are not entitled for a specific news provider, the check box will be grayed out.
Settings for {Provider} News
Displays the categories and sources that have been chosen for the selected provider.
- Display news for all available providers - Clear this setting to change the category and source settings for a provider. The check boxes in the Providers box will be enabled.
- Highlight a provider in the Providers list.
- Edit- Allows you to select additional categories and sources for the provider. The Provider - {name} dialog is displayed.
Set as default - Check this to use the current settings as the default for all new filters.
Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without any changes.
