Notes for Drawing Objects

When you add a Drawing Object in a Chart Analysis window, you can attach a Note to it for your reference. Notes provide context, clarification, and intent, helping explain why the Drawing Object was used.

 

 A note is specific to the drawing object it is attached to and cannot be shared with other drawing objects.

 A note cannot be added for a Text Drawing Object.

 

Adding Note to a Drawing Object

  1. Right-click on the drawing object and select Notes->Add Note from the shortcut menu.

  2. Add a note for your reference.

  3. Click OK.

A notes icon is displayed; by default, it is centered with the drawing object.

 

Editing Note for a Drawing Object

  1. Right-click on the drawing object and select Notes  Edit Note from the shortcut menu.

  2. Update the note with the appropriate text for your reference.

  3. Click OK.

 

Deleting Note for a Drawing Object

The note for a Drawing Object can be removed by right-clicking on the drawing object and selecting Notes ->Remove Note from the shortcut menu.
