Confirm - Japanese Equities
The Confirm dialog is used to review an order before actually sending it to the market. Clicking Yes sends the order as described; clicking No closes the dialog without sending anything.
Under "Would you like to place the following order(s)?", a summary of the order to be placed is provided which reflects all of the options you selected when you placed the order, including:
- Account - The brokerage account number to be used for the order.
- Order name - Action (Buy, Sell Short, etc.), number of shares, description, price, and order type.
- Symbol/Description - The symbol and description of the equity.
- Buy or Sell - The action that you selected for the equity (Cash or Margin Buy/Sell, Sell Short, Buy to Cover, etc.).
- Route - The route (exchange) where the order will be placed.
- Duration - The duration of the order. See Durations for more information.
- Advanced (optional) - The Details button allows you to see the information regarding the Advanced options that were selected for the order being placed.
- Lot Selection Method (closing a position) - Shows the lot selection method (FIFO, LIFO, Low Cost, High Cost) for closing multiple lots in a position.
- Taxation Method - Tokutei or Non-Tokutei.
- Fund Source - Cash, Standard Margin, or Negotiated Margin.
- Order QTY - The quantity of shares in the order, and the minimum lot size for the symbol.
- Order Price - Displays the Order Type or Stop/Limit price of your order.
- Don't show me this again for Order Bar and Macros [asset type] orders - Check this setting to place orders directly without showing the Confirm dialog. (To turn the dialog back on, change the Order Entry Preferences.)
