Select Hot List

The Select Hot List dialog allows you to customize the Hot Lists to your personal preference. You can sort by asset types, exchanges, and activity; you can change the number of results to display in the Hot Lists window, and the Hot Lists ticker. You can also apply a template to your Hot Lists ticker.

 From the TradeStation Ticker Bar, display a Hot List ticker by using the shortcut menu, then choose New Ticker > Hot Lists. If you already have a Hot Lists ticker, use the shortcut menu and choose Select Hot List.

From the Hot Lists window, access using the menu bar Format > Hot List menu sequence. The Select Hot List dialog is displayed.

Select Hot List  

Contains the columns used for the sort criteria used in the Hot Lists window and Hot Lists ticker.

• Category - Select the desired asset type to use for the Hot Lists window or Hot Lists ticker.
• Exchange - Select the desired exchange type to use for the Hot Lists window or Hot Lists ticker.
• Activity - Select the desired activity type you want use from the Price, Volatility, or Volume lists.
• Results - Select the desired number of results you want displayed in the Hot Lists window or Hot Lists ticker. You can select 25, 50, 75 or 100.

Select Filter Template  

Select Filter Template is only available for a Hot Lists ticker. It displays a list of templates that can change the Hot Lists ticker results.

• Select the desired filter to be applied as a specific template from the drop-down list.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
