Applying a TradingApp Store Component to a Scanner Window

Once you subscribe to a Scanner product from the TradingApp Store, you can apply one or more of its components to a Scanner window. You can also import TradingApp Store products.

  Click the Scanner icon in the TradingApps window. A new Scanner window displays.

Insert an indicator into a Scanner window:

  1. From the menu bar, click Format > Scan, or right-click the Scanner window and choose Format Scan. Click to the Scan Criteria tab.
  2. From the Field list, click the <Select Criteria> drop-down.
  3. Click Indicator, ShowMe, or PaintBar. A selector dialog appears with TradeStation indicators, plus any TradingApp Store components that you have already installed.
  4. Select the Component that you want to insert.
  5. Click OK. The component now displays in the Field column of the Format Scan dialog. For additional details, including Operator and Field instructions, view Format Scan.

Insert a TradingApp Store product:

  1. From the menu bar, click Format > Scan, or right-click the Scanner window and choose Format Scan. Click to the Scan Criteria tab.
  2. From the Field list, click the <Select Criteria> drop-down.
  3. Click TradingApp Store. The TradingApp Store Subscriptions tab displays. Product names and their status display in the My Subscriptions box.
  4. From the My Subscriptions list, select the name of the desired product.

    All components display. If a component is not applicable to the Scanner window, it will be greyed out.

  5. Click OK. All relevant components for the selected product now display in the Field column of the Format Scan dialog. For additional details, including Operator and Field instructions, view Format Scan.

Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.

Subscribe to a new TradingApp Store product:

  1. From the menu bar, click Format > Scan, or right-click the Scanner window and choose Format Scan. Click to the Scan Criteria tab.
  2. From the Field list, click the <Select Criteria> drop-down.
  3. Click TradingApp Store. The TradingApp Store Subscriptions tab displays.
  4. Click Get Started Now. The TradingApp Store opens where you can search for products. Once a product has downloaded, it will be available in the My Subscriptions box.
