Applying a TradingApp Store Component to a Chart Analysis Window

Once you subscribe to a charting product from the TradingApp Store, you can apply one or more of its components to a Chart Analysis window. You can also import TradingApp Store products.

  Click the Chart Analysis icon in the TradingApps window to open a chart.

Insert a strategy into a chart:

1. From the menu bar, click Insert > Strategy, or right-click the chart and choose Insert Strategy. The Insert Strategy dialog appears.
2. From the My Subscriptions list, select the name of the desired product, and then select the Component that you want to insert.
3. Check the Prompt for Format setting to display the Format Analysis Techniques & Strategies - Strategies dialog.

Insert an analysis technique into a chart:

1. From the menu bar, click Insert > Indicator, or right-click the chart and choose Insert Analysis Technique. The Insert Analysis Techniques dialog appears.
2. Click the Indicator, ShowMe, PaintBar, ActivityBar, or ProbabilityMap tab. The TradingApp Store products are included in the alphabetical list. Select the item that you want to insert.

Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes. The product's component(s) are inserted into the chart.

Import a product from the TradingApp Store:

1. From the menu bar, click Insert > Indicator, or right-click the chart and choose Insert Analysis Technique.
2. In the Insert Analysis Technique dialog, click the Import button and choose TradingApp Store. The TradingApp Store opens where you can search and download the products that you want. For more information, see About the TradingApp Store.
