Applying Different Optimization Test Results to Your Chart

When you run an optimization, the strategy component inputs are automatically updated with the tested values that yielded the best results across All Data based on the fitness function specified for the optimization report. However, after reviewing the report, you may want to apply a different set of input values to the chart from a selected report row.

• To apply different test results to a strategy from the optimization report, double-click a row number (left of each row), or use the shortcut menu from any cell within a row and select Apply Test to Chart. TradeStation recalculates the entire strategy in your chart using the inputs from that row.
