Setup Environment
This dialog lets you review and set general parameters for the WFO environment including general, graph display, and WFA reports values.

Access using the Setup > Environment Settings menu sequence in the TradeStation Walk Forward Optimizer.
The following tabs and sections appear on the dialog:
General
Parameter precision 
Shows the number of decimal places to use for numeric values other than integers.
- Display [N] decimals for non-integer inputs - Change N to set the number of decimal places.
Date display 
Shows the format used when displaying date values using mm, dd, and yyyy for month, day, and year.
- Display dates using the format [list] - Select a date from the drop-down list.
Multi-treading 
Shows the number of threads and memory settings that can be used to enhance WFO performance.
- Target [N] parallel threads - Change N to set the number of threads.
- Read all tread list files into memory - Checking this box loads all trade list files into memory, otherwise they are loaded as requested.
Monte Carlo Walk-Forward 
- Number of Simulations - Enter the number of Monte Carlo simulations to perform during a Walk-Forward analysis (see Computing Time in Monte Carlo with Walk-Forward for more information about performance considerations).
Graph
Graph Colors 
Shows the color settings and default number of trades used with graphs.
- Graph Background - Use the color selector to change the background color for WFO graphs.
- Graph Foreground - Use the color selector to change the foreground plotting color for WFO graphs.
- Graph Text - Use the color selector to change the color of text on a WFO graph.
Graph Display 
Selects the number of trades shown on a graph, by default.
- Default number of trades [N] - Change N to set the default number of trades for a graph.
WFA Reports
Display the following columns in WFA reports 
Shows the columns that are set to display in a WFA report Check columns on / off to modify.

Click Save / OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
