Using the Index Tab
The Index is an alphabetical list pre-indexed keywords that reflect the tools, terms, and concepts found in TradeStation WFO help topics. Each entry provides links to one or more help topics that are determined to be related to the keyword. The list of Index keywords and related items does not change as would be the case with a list of results from the Search tab.
-
From the Menu bar of the TradeStation Walk-Forward Optimizer, click Help > Contents & Index.
-
Click the Index tab.
-
A list of keywords will display in the scrolling list box.
-
Enter the keyword of interest in the Type in the keyword to find box. The closest matching word will be highlighted in the list.
Typing the first few characters of a word may be useful for finding reserved words, analysis techniques, and strategies that combine abbreviated words within their names. For example, typing 'mov' will find index entries such as Mov Avg 1 Line (Indicator) in addition to whole word phrases such as Moving Averages while typing 'moving' will reduce the keyword list to just those entries that begin with that full word.

To view the topic of interest, click a keyword from the scrolling list search results.
