C_Kicking (Function)

The C_Kicking function identifies occurrences of two Japanese candlestick patterns; Bullish Kicking and Bearish Kicking.

Syntax

C_Kicking(BodyAvgLength, ShadowPercent)

Returns (Integer)

Returns a positive one (1) when a Bullish Kicking candlestick pattern is found or returns a negative one (-1) when a Bearish Kicking pattern is found. Otherwise, returns 0 if no Kicking pattern is identified.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
BodyAvgLength	Numeric	Number of bars used to calculate the average body.
ShadowPercent	Numeric	Shadows (upper and lower) must not exceed this percentage of the body's size for the pattern to occur.
