Customize Study Properties - Color

The Chart Color or Grid Color tab allows you to customize the plot colors so that when the study is applied to a chart or grid, these settings are used. Color properties do not affect the study's calculation in any way but only the manner in which the technique is displayed on a chart or grid.

• Access while editing a study document using the File > Properties menu sequence, or select Properties from the right-click shortcut menu; then select the Chart Color or Grid Color tab.

Plots  

Identifies the plot to which the color settings apply.  The Preview pane at the bottom of the customize window shows how the plot will appear.  You can have different settings for each plot.

• Select the name of a plot to review or modify its settings.  

Foreground Color  

• Select the desired color for the chart line or grid text of a selected plot. For more color options, click Other.

Background Color  (grid only)  

• Select the desired color for the background of a grid cell in a selected plot. For more color options, click Other.

Additional settings (grid only)  

• Check this setting to override the grid color settings in your EasyLanguage statements using the foreground and background settings specified above.

Default

• Click this button to use the current settings as the default for all future studies. A message appears to confirm if you want to use your settings as the default.

  The Preview pane displays a sample of the study using the current settings.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
