Symbol Lookup - Bonds
The Bonds tab searches and finds the desired symbol that is classified as a bond based on the criteria you select.
Access using the Data > Add Symbol menu sequence and click Lookup. You can also use the Main toolbar and click the Symbol Lookup icon.
The following methods are available to search for bonds symbols:
- Description - Searches the desired symbol using the description you are searching for. The Description option searches for symbol descriptions that contain the letter(s) that you entered as search criteria. For example, if you enter IB as your search criteria, the search will return all symbols whose descriptions contain IB, such as LBY (Libbey, Inc.) but not IBM (International Business Machines).
- Symbol - Searches for the actual symbol. This setting searches for symbols that contain the letter(s) that you enter as search criteria. For example, if you enter US as your search criteria, the search will return all symbols that contain 'US', such as #CUS/A (Chandler Inc.).
The following setting is used to refine the search criteria:
- Country - Searches for symbols associated by country (United States, Germany, or All Countries).
Lookup - Displays the results you are looking for and based on what you entered in the Description, Symbol and Country settings. Results will be displayed in the bonds symbol box.
