Customize TradingApp - General

When using a TradingApp window, you can customize its properties so that these settings are used by the TradingApp every time you run it from your saved workspace. You can modify the name, short name, notes, maximum number of bars the study will reference,.

• Access using the Customize > TradingApp menu sequence from a TradingApp window. Select the General tab.

Name  

 Contains the TradingApp name.

• Enter the desired name in the Name box (if applicable).

Short Name  

Contains the abbreviated name for the TradingApp.

• Enter the desired short name in the Short Name box (if applicable).

Notes  

Contains relevant notes pertaining to the TradingApp.

Maximum number of bars study will reference  

Displays the number of bars available to the TradingApp. For more information, see Maximum Bars Back Settingand Maximum Number of Bars Study Will Reference Setting.

• Auto-detect - Select this setting for TradeStation to detects the number of bars the TradingApp needs to calculate. By default, Auto-detect is selected.
• User defined - Select this setting to manually set the number of bars to use for the TradingApp.

Default - Check this setting to use any changes that you made as your default setting.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
