Sessions
The Sessions dialog allows you to manage session templates used in analysis windows. You can view the details of session templates and select a new session template to apply for all symbols of the same type in the current window.
To change default session template settings for each symbol category, use the menu bar File > Preferences > Desktop menu sequence, then select the Sessions tab.
Session Settings 
Contains the settings that are available based on the symbol category you selected. If you are accessing the Sessions dialog from the TradeStation Desktop > Sessions dialog, some session settings will be hidden from this section.
- Use regular session(s) - Select this setting to use the default time period when the market opens and closes.
- Use custom session(s) - Select this setting to use a customized session that you create for the underlying symbol.
- Template Name - Select this setting to use a template to apply for the current symbol type using the drop-down list. You can select the Use regular session(s) option or the Use custom session(s) option.
- Create - Creates a new session template.
- Modify - Allows you to make changes to an existing template.
- Delete - Removes a session from the session template.
Session Preview
Displays the selected session using each day of the week and time intervals in hour increments. The legend displays the difference between regular vs. outside regular sessions.
Click OK to close the Session dialog, OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
