Finding Symbols in RadarScreen

You can have up to 2000 unique symbols in a RadarScreen window, and they can all be in one page. Therefore, RadarScreen windows include a feature that enables you to quickly and easily locate a specific symbol in a specific page or in any page in your RadarScreen window.

Finding a Symbol on the Active Page

1. Activate a RadarScreen window containing symbols.
2. Select the Symbol column.
3. From the Menu bar, click Edit > Find Symbol, or press CTRL+F. The Find Symbol dialog is displayed.
4. Type the symbol name to locate in the Find what box.
5. Select the direction in which to search, Up or Down.
6. Click Find Next.
7. Click Cancel when you have completed your search.
   

Finding a Symbol on All Pages

1. Activate a RadarScreen window containing symbols.
2. From the Menu bar, click Edit > Find Symbol in Pages. The Find Symbol in Pages dialog is displayed.
3. Type the symbol name or the first few letters of the symbol wanted to locate in the Find What box.
4. Click Find. When a match is found, the pages are listed in the Results section. When no match is found, no results are displayed.
5. Review the Results list, click the symbol and page to view. The same symbol may appear on more than one page.
6. Click Go to Symbol. TradeStation will place your active cell on the symbol selected.
7. Click Close when you have completed your search.
