Out-Of-Sample

Out-Of-Sample data is the data set that has been excluded for optimization purposes, in other words, data which remained unseen during the optimization. The performance on unseen data can be used as an indication how the strategy might perform on unseen data in the future.

 Applicable to users of the TradeStation Walk-Forward Optimizer.
