Updating Value Intra-Bar for every Tick

When this option is enabled, your charting application recalculates the study each time a tick is collected. If you do not enable this option it will wait for the close of each bar before recalculating.

For example, if your data interval is set to daily, your study can recalculate each time a tick is received or once at the end of the day, when the daily bar is completed. Select the Update value intra-bar check box when you want the indicator to recalculate with each new tick.

 Activate a Chart Analysis window containing data. Access using the Studies > Edit Studies menu sequence and select the Studies tab. The Customize Studies & Strategies dialog is displayed.

1. Select the study to modify.
2. Click Customize.
3. Click the General tab.
4. Select the Update value intra-bar check box.

 Click OK, click Close when finished.
